Ok. So I recently self-published my very first kid’s book via amazon: The Adventures of Pixie Piper: A Fairy’s Breath and now all of a sudden I have all these marketing tools at my disposal: Author pages, marketing services, endless twitter options, etc. I’m suddenly overwhelmed. I can connect my twitter to the author page, connect the blog, a Facebook page… and all of a sudden, I’m public. I knew there would be some of this, but honestly I was not expecting it so suddenly and so publicly. I like my loner status when it comes to being a writer. I suppose being on the net isn’t really forfeiting my lonerness, but it feels a bit scary. What if I post the wrong thing? (Starts touching her eyebrows obsessively). Ah! Whatever, I’m sure it’s only a temporary adaptive phase.
